Practise gently. Listen closely.

QRM instruments are massage and acupressure tools for personal wellbeing. Begin with light pressure, stay with what feels safe, and ask a qualified professional when you are unsure.

Check first

  1. Pregnancy — ask your maternity care professional before acupressure work.

  2. Blood-thinning medication or a bleeding condition — ask a clinician before using pressure tools.

  3. Broken, inflamed, infected, numb, or fragile skin — do not work over the area.

  4. Recent surgery, injury, or unexplained pain — wait for professional guidance.

Pressure and marks

Firm gliding strokes can leave temporary redness or marks on the skin. More pressure is not more effective. Lighter pressure is always enough, especially when you are learning.

Stop if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, numbness, or anything that feels wrong. Seek medical help for urgent or persistent symptoms.

Nothing has failed

If a session brings no release today, nothing has failed and no one has been refused. You simply return, and begin again.
